A fellow artist made a wonderful unicorn on patterned stationary and I got VERY inspired by it. So I bought this CHUNK of card stock paper that is textured and printed in various oriental patterns. This little waterdragon came to be on one of them!

Made on patterned and textured cardstock with various inks and such - 4.5 x 6.5 inches.

love the style and the line quality here. the overall color adds a nice classic touch too. the dragon looks playful and curious... makes me want to hug him! those big eyes are a wonderful touch and i love the characters in the backdrop.

I gave it away as a birthday gift. the guy who got it LOVED it and now he wants two more so he can make this little Asian corner in his hallway with A couple of Buddha statues, incense etc. I was SOOO surprised! :-D And delighted of course! Mission accomplished: I made someone happy!
