Artist's Comments

I had a lovely simplistic portrait of the Autobot 2nd in command plotted out. But instead he became very sad. Very melancholic.... Dunno why really... This inked version will be colored at some later stage.

And as you migth have FIGURED out by now, I don't own Transformers nor prowl. I do it for fun.

I like the inking very much. Looks like it came from a page of a comic, ya know?

Glee! *hugs him* Awe, Prowl, don't feel sad! :+favlove:!

"Oh, hey there Inferno. Nope, not the last time I checked. What's happening out there on Ground Zero? … Uh huh? … No kidding? Really? Naw, I won't warn Ratchet about this one - he loves it when I spring stuff out of the blue on him like this. No, really." --Jazz in Third Party Fire and Theft ([link])

Considering I suck at inking, that is indeed high praise. I often look to comics for inking tips, even picked up a book about it all and that oen has been throughly studied lately!

This turned out really nice as an ink. His headlight perspective is a little odd, but then those things are a bitch to draw anyway. Really sad, but beautiful at the same time. :)

Good lord, you project more than a film festival - Anon.

Thanks! yes, I have a tricky time with it... Gonna get there at some point, until then I will draw fanart as best I can with crap results. hehehehe

Nice, I do rather like the inking. I do find some bits to be strange though. His facial features seem to be stretched, you've made his nose too long and then squished his chin and lips into the remaining space (I do this a lot). The back of his head and the neck look a bit odd as well, I'm not really familiar with drawing Prowl, but I think there should be more of a over hang for his helmet at the back. His Autobot symbol looks a bit small too. Nice emotive portrait. This makes me want to draw Prowl now.
